When it comes to investing for better returns, investors often feel overwhelmed by questions such as “Have I done enough research?”, “How to choose between so many options?”, “How can I diversify my portfolio?”

We understand that investing sometimes feels stressful especially if you’re not an expert. But you also do not want to lose the opportunity of earning high yields from investments.

To make high-yield investing an effortless experience for investors, Grip has introduced ‘Basket’.

    What Is Basket?

It is designed to make investment decisions easier. Enjoy theme based investments spread over different instruments and diversify your portfolio in one click.

    What Does Basket Solve?

Based on the information gathered from investors, pain points around research, diversification, and not enough time to make the right investment decision emerged as key challenges to a stress free investing experience. Basket aims to address them all.
Basket by Grip offers investment options that are:

    • Theme based: Sectors and category based investing for simpler selection
    • Diversification enabled: Each Basket holds multiple Bonds and/or SDIs to automatically derisk your portfolio
    • Convenient: A one click journey in consideration of your valuable time

More Reasons To Choose Basket By Grip

    • Enjoy the power of decision making without the pain of detailed comparison
    • Unlike mutual funds, Baskets come with no management fees or any other charges
    • No additional TDS; Tax treatment remains the same as forBonds or SDIs
    • As always, each instrument in a Basket is regulated, rated and will be credited to your Demat account

Now, whether your primary focus is on returns, tenure, credit-quality or theme based investing like gold-loans, there is a Basket available for you on Grip.

Let’s know more about our inaugural baskets in detail.

    1. High Rated Basket: Delivers fixed monthly payouts over a maximum tenure of 18 months. It offers steady income with low risk through a balanced and well-diversified basket with bonds of 5 high quality NBFCs. Each bond boasts a rating between AA- to A as assessed by independent credit rating agencies. Bonds of Ugro Capital, Navi Finserv, Incred Financial Services, Vivriti Capital and Credit Access Grameen are included in this Basket. This diversification also provides exposure to multiple types of loans held by the NBFCs including personal loans, MSME, MFI, supply chain financing and home loans.

    2. High Return Basket: Delivers fixed monthly payouts over a maximum tenure of 23 months. It offers an overall yield of 13.3% as combined interest payments from bonds. This Basket offers 3 NBFC bonds - Akara Capital, Manba Finance and Keertana Finserv. Investing in this Basket enables access to diverse sectors such as loans to MSME and personal finance, vehicle financing, and gold loans.

    3. Gold Shield Basket: Delivers fixed monthly payouts over a tenure of 35 months. It offers an overall yield of 13.1% as combined interest payments from bonds. This basket offers 3 NBFC bonds - TruCap Finance, Indel Money and Keertana Finserv. With 70% exposure to gold loan backed bonds, each of the three bonds in the Basket are primarily backed by gold-loans resulting in ~70% of the aggregated loans assets held by the NBFCs being gold loans. Gold as a security against a loan provides an additional layer of protection and generally results in lower NPA levels for a NBFC.

    4. Digi Loan Basket: Delivers fixed monthly payouts over a tenure of 19 Months. It offers an overall yield of 12.38% as combined interest payments from bonds. Every NBFC in the Basket has demonstrated some of the lowest NPA ratios in the industry on account of their underwriting practices and digital collection machinery. Each bond is rated from A- to BBB by independent rating agencies. This Basket offers 3 NBFC bonds- Akara Capital, Krazybee Services and Earlysalary Services.

    5. Ultra Short Tenure Basket: Delivers fixed monthly payouts over a tenure of just 9 Months. It offers 3 NBFC bonds- Akara Capital Advisors, Clix Capital Services and Indel Money. Investing in this Basket allows access to loans provided to diverse sectors, such as Personal Loans, MSME Loans, and Gold Loans.
